Chris Lafferty happened to be in attendance as a guest, but then serenaded us all with his incredible rendition of “Bring him Home” from Les Miserables.
As it was late in the evening and many missed him, we thought we’d Bring him Back! Twice!
Because we don’t want anyone to be “Miserable” in the winter months.
So, Chris is returning on:
Wednesday 26th February for a Stage Night
and
Wednesday 26th March for an Opera Night
Dubbed Britain’s answer to Josh Groban, Chris is an award winning musical theatre and classical artist with over twenty years treading the boards.
He is also a talented pianist and violinist. With powerhouse vocals there wasn’t a dry eye left at The Moorings on New Year’s Eve and we’re absolutely delighted to have been able to convince him to come back!
Stage Night
This will be a Musical Theatre night, featuring some of the most loved songs from your favourite West End shows, including Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Pippin and more.
Opera Night
The second night in the series will be an Opera Night. You can expect some of the best known Arias from operas including Verdi’s La Traviata, Puccini’s Turandot, and modern day tenor Andrea Bocelli.
